How to enter IFRA data

First contact Formulator support and ask for the “IFRA Hazmat Import 47^th Amendment” spreadsheet.  Import this spreadsheet into (25) Hazmat File maintenance. 

After the data has been imported users may begin using the IFRA information.

Let’s take this hazmat (CAS number or chemical) as an example:

The next step is for you to add the CAS numbers to your raw materials under menu option (10) Raw Material Maintenance

Example below:

At a 90% level, with 10% inert:

Now let’s use it in a formula:

To see the maximum use percents, select the “Regulatory” tab, and then “Ratings/Hazmats”; turn on the hazmat grid; then display whatever IFRA categories are relevant:

In the above example, the formula in question can be used at a 1.08% concentration for IFRA category 1 products.
