Converting IU's to other units

Since every nutrient/Vitamin may have a different definition for IU there is not a simple way to convert from IU to mg or mcg.  In fact, many of our customers prefer to list mcg in lieu of IU. 

To accomplish this simply add another nutrient to your database under menu option (940) Nutritional Definition Set-Up.  Specify the unit of measure as mcg.  Sample image below for Vitamin A:

Be sure to enter the nutritional values on your raw materials for the new unit of measure if you intend to use it on your formulas and/or nutritional labels.
